CS:GO related question

If you are here, then you are probably a CS.GO player and you may be wondering why did I post this thread.
Well, let me start, as you know there is skins for guns in this game, and a lot of us like them so much, that we spend real money for them, a lot (not everyone of cousre).
Also, there is a lot of people, who choose to play on minimal video settings(for less lag). But, they would like to see their skins on high resolution and with maximum shader details, though.
And here comes a reasonable question: is it possible to leave all video settings at minimum, but set only guns in high resolution and in high shader details?

(Excuse me for my terrible English and for creating such topic here)

As far as I know, there are no options that only change the model quality. Shaders and textures only have global settings that effect everything in the game.

I think textures are would be possible, but the shader would kill the performance even if set on a single ant in the landscape.

Meh. Was just a quick rant about texture quality affecting signs and other important stuff in Skyrim and other games. Too lazy to type it all again...

Over the many years of typing long replies on the internet I quickly learned to highlight what I write and click copy before submitting it. That way if something goes wrong you can just paste it and click submit again. It's a good habit to get into. I do it with all comments out of habit, even this one.

Almost all of these tips are known for me, thank you though! But do not delete your post, it might help other guys :D
(Yeah, I did limited my fps till 70. Now I'll try to lower it to 60)

The thihg is that I have to play on my laptop sometimes, but I have quite powerfull PC too.
P.S. Do you exactly know what these two options do(that you mentioned before): "-processheap", "-nod3d9ex" ???
P.P.S. Here is my settings, btw: -novid -high +fps_max 60 -tickrate 128 -processheap -nod3d9ex -threads 2 +cl_cmdrate 128 +cl_updaterate 128

Well, you could try to use the Blur setting. I use a Pentium 4 and settings are High (all of them) and no problem at 40-60fps
