It doesn't matter when you bought it as SG can't know when you did. If you gave it away after it was bundled you retroactively lose the CV.

it only does so for giveaways made before the bundle status on sg but after the actual bundle. If the actual bundle is published after your giveaway ends, you still get full credit.

oh yes, your edit makes my post look a bit out of place. Was just an attempt to clarify as a lot of people don't seem to be able to get through their skull that even though SG can't know where an item was bought, it can know when.
