NAscar, surprisingly, is quit entertaining to drive. The one I have and tried actually proved to be challenging. And monster trucks seem like a fun passtime as well.... I should just buy steering wheel now, haven't seen a good deal near me though..

I get it that people would prefer to have multiple games in Tier 1 but still... one game for a dollar is pretty cheap.

Only really worth buying if you want Assetto Corsa along with some other bonuses.

Oh, boy... DLC Simulator bundle.
I'm usually not the type to complain about this kind of stuff (and I do like racing games), but this is just too much (and too much at once) to ignore:
- DiRT Rally 2.0: 44 DLCs (check AllTracTurbo's comment for a rundown), one (Season 4 Stage 1 Liveries) only available via GotY / Deluxe edition;
- GRIP: 23 DLCs, one of which (Nyvoss Hex Pre-Order Pack) can only be acquired via an open sub or the Digital Deluxe bundle... at least 6 are free;
- Assetto Corsa: 11 DLCs, there is an Ultimate Edition bundle, but it's "must purchase together", so owning even just a single item prevents the purchase;
- Monster Truck Championship: just 2 DLCs, but they're pretty expensive for what they offer (you can just ignore them until they're cheaper, I guess);
- NASCAR Heat 5: 7 DLCs, plus a 2020 Season Pass that's still missing 2 of them (at least one is in this bundle)... but includes an exclusive DLC.
And that's on top of, once again, having only a single game in T1 (and with the usual $1 = €1 bs), and region restrictions.
Yeah, nope, sorry IGN, but Fanatical wins this race, I'd rather get both Nitro bundles for a similar price, and they include more games (13 vs 8).

T1 & T2 make no sense. Why would I pay $1 for a game that was free a few weeks ago on epic?
Dirt Rally 2.0 & Grip are 4 time rebundles. Also, DR 2.0 was in an 8 game bundle for $6 with all DLCs included.
Pacer's reviews aren't great, looks like a worse Redout.

They make sense as far as IGNs humble goes. They have been doing this for a long time. first two tiers are useless and you can see by the fast growing BTA that people see that and get third tier..
Simple money making scheme. Give a "choice" of 3 tiers, but make first two totally useless. If they would put all these games in one tier that costs 10 eur, people would probably buy it less. I would definitely think twice to buy it.. simple psychology.
edit : AKA decoy products/sizes, works in most every product you find in store. You get small package and big pacgake. On its own the big package isn't worth it, but if you put middle/medium package that seems like a bad deal. And now in comparison that big deal seems good.. same here - you see how crappy the two tiers are on their own, but in comparison the third tier has all that + some more great games. If it would go for 10 eur without tiers you would just see those 10 eur and wouldn't have anything to compare it to.

Ah yes, the anchoring effect. We do this all the time in my industry. Introduce a mediocre overpriced software product and then upsell customers into the premium product for just a few dollars more. It's slimy but it works.
I guess it didn't occur to me that the average bundle buyer isn't visiting this page every day/few days and doesn't have a frame of reference for the proper value of these games.

All these racing game bundles are making me wish I had a racing wheel peripheral. I don't currently have the money or space for one, though. But I'm adding it to my list of things to get someday (along with a flight stick). That being said, I've got enough racing games in my backlog right now.
