Here's my letter to Steam support, but since the community usually has a lot of knowledge and responds faster, I figured I'd post it here and if anyone knows about this it'd be really appreciated :D Who remembers the bonuses for the "professional" edition of Hitman Absolution?

"I pre-ordered Hitman Absolution via the Steam store, the version that I'd get Sniper Challenge and the Hitman Collection of previous games. I remember that the store page promised a 'gun DLC' as well, but when I check my DLC tab it's still not there though it's been a long time since my purchase.

Below is a screenshot of my pre-purchase, it was well before the release date, and it was the deluxe edition (I don't remember the exact name, but it was the higher tier purchase with all other Hitman titles)

So I was wondering why this doesn't show as owned for me."

I believe, if you don't activate the game before the release date, you will lose the bonuses because it turns into the normal game.

A lot of traders have pre-order copies of games that have already been released. If you check their inventory and click on the gift, it'll say something like "[Name of the game] ROW Pre-Order" or something like that.

Yeah, I definitely activated mine before the release date, also I got the Sniper Challenge and TF2 items so it definitely was pre-order, I'm just wondering what part of the gun DLC was/ wasn't included but googling didn't turn up a complete list of preorder bonuses, and the Steam page has since then been changed...

It's because you didn't buy the professional edition but the regular edition. If you bought professional, they'd tell you that your had Hitman Absolution Professional Edition but it's just regular. Another thing that told me it was regular was that professional edition pre-order cost $53.99 and the regular pre-order was $44.99.

Yeah, that shouldn't happen because the gift should still be a Pre-Order.
