Will Bluehole survive this war?
There's an old thread about the whole controversy here. I gave some links to OP.
I'm just amazed that Bluehole couldnt handle the envy.
PUBG studio will lose the case. They're just jelly because Epic has been improving their game more than them. It's the most played title on Twitch at the moment and they're still working on PvE which will be free also.

How can they spit on the plate they ate? I mean, they are desperate and nothing else, their game is a pile of complain that only gets bigger everyday and they're seeking for a responsible for that (Free Fire, Fortnite...) but they aren't looking at their own blame.
Beside of my comment, i like PUBG and i never played Fn, but using the Tencent version as a comparative, PUBG PC x PUBG MOBILE have a distance of miles in development and features - mobile version seems far most complete and competitive (beside the bots and grass) than PC version. (Both have a lot of hacks)
They can't claim Battle Royale as their "thing", it's there since they started to create mass survival zombies games and i risk to say that Battlefield are the real precursor of the genre, so they should stop being so childish.

Bluehole, the same development team that sued a Chinese mobile company (NetEase) for having the frying pan as an in-game weapon in their two mobile games - Rule of Survival and Knives Out - when the idea of a deadly cooking equipment has been conceived before Bluehole created PUBG.

Just an update to the story for anyone interested. The lawsuit was dropped.

Happy Cake Day ^.^
Btw. the topic is interesting :3 I'm neither playing PUBG nor Fortnite, but how could they have ever thought they could win this? Almost every game is, more or less, a clone of another game x.x And PUBG wasn't the first Battle Royal game, right?
Kind of cute how they get so salty, because another game, using the same concept, gets more popular.

but how could they have ever thought they could win this?
Because they don't sue them for making similar game, they sued them for stealing PUBG code and using it to create their own BR-mode.
Which might not be a total bullshit - both games are using UE4 and IIRR Bluehole hired Epic to help them beta-test code Bluehole had to create to make PUBG happen.
But they did drop the whole thing, so either they made out behind the scene (not impossible, they are both (co)owned by same company - yes, imagine Tencent holding Bluehole and Epic while saying "Now Kiss") or it was total bullshit from start.
