Milano-Sanremo

After my Tour de France event I decided to do small events for the cycling spring and autumn classics as well.

I wanted to create this one a few days ago but just didn't get to it. I'm keeping this one short as I haven't slept in 24 hours or so.

How it works

Predict who is going to win the race; that's all. :)

Entries close when the race starts.

Since it's a one day race just enter your predictions here.

Once all the classics have finished I will create a special winner's train event for everyone who correctly predicted a winner. There's quite a few classics so you will have ample opportunities to get a winning prediction. Once the season is over I will create a new thread to remind the winners so they can get their entry into the train.

Favorites
We can't have a favorites list without Peter Sagan, can we? :)
Arnaud Démare won last year but a lot was said about that afterwards.
The outsider for the betting man: Fernando Gaviria.
Michael Matthews got close once, can he take the win this year?
Plenty of other riders have a chance but I'm calling it a day, good luck with the predictions. :)

Thank you for your cycling threads and giveaways Corran! :3

I'm going for Peter Sagan. :-)

For the moment he's the most all round cyclist.

I don't know anything about cycling, but Peter Sagan definitely seems like a good choice, so he will be my pick. Thanks :)

Sagan is the obvious choice, but since you mention him as the top favorite and the first two votes are for him, I'll put my money on Magnus Cort :)

I mention him first mostly cause he's Peter Sagan and not cause he has the best chances to win today. But then I wouldn't be surprised if he does win cause he is incredibly all round as LostSoul said.
