Steam has just had both Withcer titles on sale. This is reminding people there keys can alos be activated on GOG

I don't understand the point because it is old news , why everyone ready to jump the bandwagon on how smart they are and how other people don't understand?

You know they have been doing new releases for quite some time, right? And having a DRM-free alternative available can only be considered a good thing, no matter how you look at it.

Well there are extra content you can hand pick and download unlike in steam where you have to download the whole package + why not get them for free as a backup just in case you lose access to steam or something? It takes a minute to copy the keys.

And here, ladies and gentleman, we have a perfect specimen of a breed of what is known as an "early 2000s child", safe and protected in its natural habitat, insulting things it doesn't understand on the internet. It is a sad and lonely creature, pitied by the others in its tribe for not knowing the great things in life that it could so easily find by attempting something beyond the newest flashing light show it can find.

Why? Because it is always good to have a DRM-Free backup? And maybe you don't understand the qualities of GOG because you have the mentality of a 12 y/o?

It's not about DRM, DRM sucks, but what Steam provides worth the DRM and everything.

Steam's convenient features and Steam's DRM are separate things.

I had that same problem when I picked up a retail copy of Witcher 1 from that Newegg deal a while back. There's a form on the redeem page for sending them a picture to prove that you own the copy and they'll send you a redeemable GOG key. Worked for me.

It was available hours ago, but I could not see my keys at work pc, damn! Let's try alternative ways (contacting support with giving profile links etc.)

I got the same email, hope it's fixed soon.
