I have a few email notifications set up and I check on here and Steam most days but I still feel like I'm probably missing some that I would like to know about. What do you do to keep on top of everything?

Additionally to the "Indie Bundle Tracker" Group I found the Salenauts-Group useful. Most days there are several notifications and they cover bundles and special offers in online shops.
Without them I would not have found the Square Enix Sale which resulted into my last giveaways :D

Oh god, not that group. I would recommend Opium Pulses Savings instead.

I understand the mods decision to leave, because they are the people who were betrayed, but I don't understand the low tier members, who say either leave the group or don't join it. They're just drama queens, you can give 2 shits about that as a member.

LOL hostage? So far I didn't experience any disadvantage being in this group. Why should I care?

Wait, what? I remember seeing the thread, but I don't remember reading the replies. I didn't even comment there, so I have no idea why would you think I read some of it. :S

I may have been confused about who is who. I really do have bad memory with names.

There are a couple threads on the topic - the main one is huge and has been popping up on the "Hot Topics" list a lot lately. Check it out for a good read.

There's a menu on Steamgifts, and there's "Network" tab, try to click it, wild sale page appears.

+1 for this, get notified of every bundle and stuff. You can even track sales for games not available on Steam.
