Fortunately not all indie games are like that... but damn an awful lot of them are. Probably because they're easy to develop and a good place to start. But the real good thing is 2D side scrolling puzzle games are exactly what I enjoy. Could do without the shitty 8bit though.

The Cave is a fine example of what can be done by and Indie company without going retro on us.

A Valley Without Wind 2 is pretty great so your argument is invalid.

I'm not wrong, i liked A Valley Without Wind 1 and im assuming 2 is similar so i would like that too. Its a matter of personal preference, but if you just go ahead and say the game is crap im gonna just say its good. There is no right and wrong opinion!

Eh I like both. Some indie games are crap and some are amazingly enjoyable. Same can be said about AAA games. I think war games like CoD, Battlefield, etc are the lamest more boring games to ever exist, but I do enjoy Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Kingdom Hearts, etc. Everyone has their own opinions on what they like.
But really for the Indie vs AAA thing it really depends on what I feel like playing. Sometimes I want a game that'll only take a couple hours to beat and other times I wanna be immersed into a world for days on end.

Exactly. And they do not even follow the limitations of the original systems.
It's as hipster as it can get.

This is the Internet, as such, I'm leaning torwards "SERIOUS" in my Sarcasm-o-meter.

the only thing i don't like about indie games is when they charge way too much for a basic side scroller or 2D game or a another god damn puzzle game that we already 100s of and you have to do so much digging through junk to find a decent one..
ones im currently looking forward to and would play any day over some AAA games are:

I mean that you should expect people to jump on you for comparing their Indie games to the CoD "scum." The Internet is like that.

Just saying that gamers will most likely do against your sentence, now that CoD-hating is what is trending...

Sad thing is, far too many people would be upset at you for that. Dunno why. It's just your opinion. I personally like indie games a lot more than the CoD titles that I've tried, but I couldn't care less about the fact that you preference differs so greatly.
People are quite weird. lol

Hey, CoD is great, don't you dare to say anything bad about it, indie games need dogs to make them good.

I play them all. Be it indie, AAA, crap, great, or whatever it's labeled. I just like playing games.

The problem with Indie games is that they all revolve around the same word: RETRO. And whenever they do not succeed in sales, it's always because of the big bad AAA makers.
They all pretend to be innovative and unique, but only some of them are truly new and try to stand out among other Indie games and offer a fresh experience.
And I just hate that 90% of them use 8-bit-like graphics. That's beyond the scales in my Hipster-o-meter.

So? I don't like cilantro, you don't see me posting about it on food forums.
Honestly though, I am unsure how someone can say this, I mean there are a lot of games, many are bad but still...maybe you haven't found one that clicked yet.
Btw you have plenty of hours on indie games in your profile...guess you be joking.

OK. It's your own opinion, I respect that. I like both, but recently don't know why I keep buying indie games only, especially platformers. Guess my tastes are getting "retro" too lol.

Yep, that's right. I like AAA games, like Call of Duty, GTA V, Assasins Creed, they are the best. Yep, I don't like Indie Games because.. I don't know, I like famous games. If you say that I play them, you're wrong, just go and check my steam profile for proof!
What's your opnion about indie games?
