I'm very much in favor of people thinking they can speak for their god, about how what they enjoy is no sin but what others enjoy, is undoubtedly the most extreme sin.

didn't question this one, only dismissed Octopath 2 in the guesses on the leak because it was square enix who rarely bundles anything but LIS, was the most fitting and am super happy with it... now I just need to play my physical copy of 1 for switch...

Life is Strange: Double Exposure is probably the one I'd give a go to. People have been very negative about it, which makes me all the more curious because I loved the other two games.
I already played Indika and Octopath Traveler with my gf and they were alright. I enjoyed Citizen Sleeper but I'm not sure how different the second game is so I'd probably skip it.
The rest I'll probably never play.

In general, it's a nice selection for me. Ok, Octopath Traveller II doesn't really scratch an itch - but I'll try. LiS: DE is the game, I wanted the most. TBH I haven't followed the games since LiS: BtS and so I missed the harsh critics. But I am with you, it makes me even more curious.
Citizen Sleeper is a game I don't think I'll play soon; it's more or less there for completing the series - for now.
Hell Clock looks kind of interesting. And the rest: Maybe or maybe not. :)

The whole shady business of Square Enix reviving the franchise without Don't Nod (and releasing a remaster of the first two games to make the Don't Nod originals irrelevant) didn't help with the critics i'm sure. But it's also a beloved franchise so disappointment was inevitable. I just want to make my own opinion of it but I definitely wouldn't pay full price for that and I'm not getting the bundle for that either.

That doesn't sound good. :/ You're right, there are high hopes - especially for a beloved franchise. I must admit that I liked the first one's because of their story and how it is told. And I may have a strange view what a "game" is - and the LiS franchise aren't "real" games in my opinion. They are kind of "multiple choice tests". BUT: They tell a very good story in a very good way. That's what counts for me.
All of that could lead to a whole other judgement of LiS: DE than the harsh critics have.

I agree. It's a good engaging narrative that makes you care about what's going to happen next. It does feel like choices matter more than in most "choices matter" games but it's more of a interactive narrative.

No catch. Humble issues coupons to simulate more sales.
If you have your plan cancelled or paused, you have a chance to receive coupon in order to buy it afterall.
Usually when there is low interest in bundle they drop it. Some time ago they gave it every two months. Now it has been a bit more rarely.
For Humble the risk is that everyone pauses and waits for coupon. So they probably mix different approaches and try to see which approach incentivizes more purchases.
Edit: as to where to find it - it can either appear directly in your profile under "Coupons" (under your profile selector on the top right side in the humblebundle site) or it can be sent to you in the email as promo.

100% fan, I love these games and I sincerely hate what the series became. I would even argue the sequel to Double Exposure (LiS Reunion) biggest flaw is being a sequel to DE, so that game is just below average for me for various reasons. DE suffers with any problem a story game shouldn't have - poor characters, horrible romance options, irrelevant choices, ignoring the final choice of the OG game, breaking cannon and changing rules to fit the narrative, non sensical ending, a billion plot holes throughout the story, but I gotta admit I was liking it until the end of episode 2 (ironically when the games early access ended)
I can also say for me the games rating has been dropping as we go on along the years because this is what I rate the games (from best to worst)
Lis 1 > Lis Before the Storm > Lis 2 > Lis True Colors > Lis Reunion > Lis Double Exposure

Gotcha...I've only played the first two in your sequence, though I have the next two in my backlog. I actually forgot about Lis Reunion and thought that the game in this Monthly was "the new-ish LIS game that I don't have," when actually it's the more recent of the TWO that I don't have.
Well, I guess that means I'm out on this bundle. I don't even have Reunion and these last two seem to be the worst of the bunch.
