Stardew Valley - Android

Hi

Anyone played it, is it worth it? Currently on sale for £4.
Can't decide if it is my kind of game. Liked faming games in the past (Farmville)
Wondered if anyone has played it on mobile and what they thought?

Cheers

Hallo, I bought it maybe 1y ago on Amazon store with coins. I wanted to try it on pc, but having it for free on android seemed a fair option. I played the game during some weeks, until I was bored, I don't really like the small touchscreen and I think I was also stuck somewhere, I wasn't advancing a lot.
So I uninstalled, being my final opinion: unimpressed.

I wasn't advancing a lot.

I had somewhat similar experiences with the PC version.

For a game that gets labeled as a farming game surprisingly farming only seems to make up a very small portion of the early game. Like you have enough cash to buy seeds for 5 plants, you sow them and wait a couple of days before you can harvest and sell them and now have enough money to buy seed for 7 plants. I found myself spending most of my time fishing, trying to make at least a little money.

I also don't really get the whole interacting with townfolk and romancing people which seems to make up a large part of the game. Apparently you have to give them the right gifts to make them like you so they will open up more but I kept walking around town and talking to everybody but all they had to say was a single sentence each, which didn't give me the slightest clue what they like and dislike.

I'm not saying it's a bad game I simply didn't understand what was going on.
Probably because I never played any of those Harvest Moon games people keep raving about. I only played 5,1 hours so I assume it gets better later on?

If somebody can explain to me where I went wrong and maybe gimme some tips I'd appreciate it very much because I'd like to give the game another chance at some point.

the only concern i have with mobile games is the touch screen interface, because real time combat will be harder.

stardew valley combat is simple, but with the screen input "handicap" it could turn into dark souls. 🤷
