Artifex Mundi revolutionized the hidden object games and implemented good stories, sequences and other stuff so that the whole games gets very immersive. <3 them all! Played a lot of their games and reviewed three. Great studio!

one other thing a really like them for is using female protagonists. I do not know if any other game company have so many strong female characters with the leading role as theirs.

With a mostly female audience it's not that surprising :) Though I would prefer some variety in it - for example I can surely name only two HOGs with male protagonists (The two non-Mundi Brink of Consciousness games). In general I would like to have a bit more serious storylines, or just bit a more creepy instead of supershiny fairytales where the evil is either comically super-evil, or just a person gone wrong and needs saving, ooooooh.
Regarding "the strong female characters"I really liked Abyss, or Enigmatis 1-2, or the 9 clues games - they were rather mysterious or downright creepy, and thank fucking god they dropped the usual " distressed woman looks for [insert family member]" main storyline that is way too common for the genre :|

Lol got kicked from this group just because i don't talk much in discord, tried to join back but got "warned by someone" cause i join back without permission even though i told her before that i had some personal reason that i don't talk much in discord and she approved me of the reason yet she still kick me which is stupid. I got kicked for the same reason. I'm in Steam groups to participate in Steam forums, not Discord servers. I actually don't like Discord at all. But if you don't participate when, where, and how often they want you to, you get the boot.

My favorites are the three Davy Jones ones. But yes they are a quality company. Three games they develop themselves are usually best but even as publisher they put out quality

I had never played HOGs before joining this site, lol. I had tried the Frozen Fear Collection, which was confusing as heck and just had a poor UI -- Artefax Mundi made a much better HOG with Eventide: A Slavic Fable, with a nice story. I have yet to play more of their games, but looking forward to it -- especially The Forsaken Bride. Thanks for the train!

Of the games I've played of theirs, Eventide was pretty good, but the first Enigmatis game was the one I've enjoyed the most.

For me, Artifex Mundi are the masters of the HOG genre :)
They should pick more carefully which HOGs they act as a publisher for though; sometimes the HOGs published under their name are great, but other times, average at best.
