My assumption is that he did so thinking you were a regifter. If he'd bother to read the comments here he'd see he is mistaken and that you have activated your wins and you were simply asking for clarification of one of the rules. So instead of reading, he created a Support Ticket reporting you for something you didnt do, further pushing other more important tickets back. ..clogging support tickets.

There are lots of SG paladins around that SG doesn't really need. Just because they have a good level, they think they are better than others so they judge and sentence without even thinking that they may not be always right.

Yes, I totally agree with you Fatality92. I think that that kind of behaviour is rather pointless and quite unjustifiable, and also that people should only blacklist when there are really sound reasons to do so. Fortunately enough I have the impression so far that the vast majority of the people here in Steamgifts are quite friendly and welcoming.

Yep, you've got a point there, I agree one hundred percent with what you just said. When I first joined steamgifts, I saw similar comments by some other Steamgifts white knights, and by some random unconsiderate people, fortunatelly I realized soon enought that those sort of people are just a minority in here.

In the case rules on this site should make sense, receiving includes activation on the account

It´s not about reporting here...for me it´is about recurring communication of a "7-day-for activation rule" and discussions about that.
Maybe the rules should either say you have 1 week for activation (what they not do now) or they should state very clear that you should only mark it as received after activation. Simple reason, if I check a winner after a giveaway and he marked it as received...i expect he activated it, and don´t want do discuss this with him....or manuelly note those that did it not, to check them later.
Or in the case he noticed a week later the key does not work...it all would be unnecessary trouble.

Well i am glad the OP got his answer but my how quickly things snowballed over one small question...granted most people on here are nice and helpful.....that means nothing as look how quickly things spread when one bad apples joins in....

Well i never meant for anyone to get suspended what i meant is a better way to manage threads to keep them from getting out of control or just snow balling into something way off topic....
None of that would need a suspension unless the person has been warned several times for minor offenses but either case what i was talking about was not about that.
I just went through this thread and i was like wow this gout out of control fast ...with blacklisting and so on...i also may add not that it is breaking a rule but i still think it is quiet rude to announce your blacklisting someone but that just me.It also tends to drag out needless replies and sometimes sarcastic remarks and so on in the end...calling out who you blacklisted most time leads to a big fat mess.
In any case i just think a bit more control over closing threads that have been answered or getting out of control would clean things up a bit more...and keep things more civil

the thing with blacklisting is it's the only way to "punish" someone when they annoy or offend you, so it's usually announced as a revenge measure since there's nothing else you can do.
when people break a rule (unactivated/multiple wins, etc), i don't blacklist them since they are gonna pay for that with a suspension.
but when someone insults me or he/she's just trolling and being stupid, then i just block access for them to my GAs (which isn't much... but i wouldn't like that kind of user winning them). -_-
