Such a great game...I hope someone that really wants to play it wins this time!

Also, you cannot have more than 25 items in your wishlist
Thank you. Finally a "you must have the game wishlisted" giveaway which doesn't make the whole concept pointless.
(Don't bother checking, I don't have the game wishlisted so I won't enter, just commenting. ^^)

But limiting the amount of games on wishlists eliminates unfair advantages. If someone has 200 games wishlisted, of course there will be much higher odds that they have the game wishlisted, compared to the user with 25 games wishlisted or less.

Same here! in fact I like your and jbondguy007 comments, I have more than 25, some added in 2013 :P
I'm no trader and I've seen S.E. but didn't add it, being an early access you can't never know if it will be ever complete, sometimes they are just worthy even as EA stage. I like this iniciative Assassin7893 aka BM and hopefully are could be a founding stone; I've entered many ga's where the game I have wishlisted but too much contestants made it almost impo-- no, unlikely, or improbable to actually win it.
I do have backlog (for those who know me or those who check my profile), but I do eventually play the games, in the near or not-so-distant future. Getting sidetracking here, sorry. I like this and since I don't comply with the rules I'll just leave my blessings :P
Free bump!

yes i thought about that, but then they would have to go thru the hassle of adding them back, which is their punishment I guess. If you have a better idea, let me know lol

Hello, I have wanted space engineers for some time now, mostly because it is a game where you can mess around with your friends and build random ugly things, building games are fun games, and also im saving up for a new pc so I can run even more games XD, no the reason I have 198 wishlisted games is because I go through the steam store way too often and add anything that shows the slightest sliver of hope, and don't delete anything if it turns out the concept or game just didn't work, because im lazy and to busy looking for more to add, GL to everyone who enters and have fun everyone!!!

And also guys I don't mean to be an ass, hence the convince me you really want the game. I just don't want it to be another unplayed game in a library - I want an insta-download!
Comment has been collapsed.
insta wont really work for me, I have crappy internet xD, it would be more like as soon as I get it start the download and just hope lol
Comment has been collapsed.
lol instant download click - I doubt someone who loves multiplayer games would have internet that can't download this game over 5 days
Comment has been collapsed.
no its not that crappy xD I mean like if someone in the house is watching Netflix or something I cant play multiplayer, wich is why my prime play time is 11PM- 5AM even though I normally get off around 2-3AM but I mean I downloaded GTA V in 3 days so im sure this is nothing, I can play multiplayer just fine when im the only internet user

I do not have the game wishlisted as I cleaned my wishlist not long ago.
I also have more than 25 games on my wishlist, but that is nothing compared to what it was before.
The reason I want this game is to play multiplayer with a friend. Said friend has about 40 hours on it and said it was pretty fun.

i have nothing. i want something. now you have two reasons. :D

I'm not getting witcher 3 for the same exact reason, pc too weak :(

I don't have the game on my wishlist but I would be happy to have it and I promise I will play it right away.

I've had it on my wishlist since I first heard about it from a friend, the concept sounded great and was made even better with multiplayer, and better yet when weaponry and such was added. The collision physics looks freaking awesome too with how ships and structures will actually break apart instead of just blowing up like in most games. I will say though, if I win I probably won't be able to download it for a while. Right now I'm out of town on crappy satellite internet with a 1.5GB bandwidth limit per month and won't be back home for another week or so.
My massive wishlist is so I can see when games go on sale and are up for giveaways here, there's a ton of early access games I'm keeping tabs on but don't want to spent money on yet because I've been burned by some already.

will add you since the giveaway will last five or six days

I played it for half an hour and was completely and absolutely amazed at how dumb I am. I couldn't even finish the tutorial. So I'm going to watch some learning videos around this month and try to understand something about the game.
So be warned, young men and women, if you truly want this game, you will have to become, a SPACE ENGINEER. epic music

Have more than 25 games on wishlist, but these are all games i wanna play...
My friend has 113hrs of play, and gets in my ear all day while we play minecraft that we need to play space engineers...
Unfortunate enough i dont have dough to get it... I'm old school gamer, who plays alot of games.
Thnx for opportunity m8, great idea btw...

Looks interesting but removed it from my wishlist when the dev said they'll support paid mods for their game.

I am a proud owner of Space Engineers, but I also despise their comment that they'll support paid mods.
As in Skyrim, a lot of stuff going on on SE now are mods. Yes, the core game is absolutely fabulous, but their support for paid mods really erode my intention to purchase their other game, the Medieval Engineers.
On the other hand, Space Engineers have given me 75 hours of great play.

Kinda interested in it
But I don't add it to my wishlist
I don't know lately it's just.. Multiplayer, survival, sandbox just doesn't seem fun
Like H1Z1, Reign of King, Ark evolved... Not really fun to me
Unless you're playing with your friends and messing around
Good luck for others!
(Bumpy bump)

Why I still would like the chance to win the game: LOOK AT MY PROFILE! I am in love with space, our stars, astronaut stuff etc. I'm even in those Astronomy club groups on Steam :P.

I usually love building games and it seems Space Engineers is one of those games in which you can build anything, even obstacle courses and who doesn't love obstacle courses?! Btw I have been wanting to try this like forever, have been on my wishlist since 25th October 2013.
Oh and I usually add every game I want to play to my wishlist for the reason if it gets on sale I can buy it at a decent price, so I don't meet the 25 games wishlisted criteria u.u

Space Engineers is in my wishlist for around a year. There are around 60 games in my wishlist, but I also use it to keep track of games I am interested in. The list is cleaned out/expanded regularly, so the game staying in there that long is a propably the best indication I want it. I like space sandboxes, but most others I know of are too focused on fighting for my liking. I also like designing and building machinery.
But I must admit that I do not like playing multiplayer with strangers, so unless one of my friends gets it, I would almost exclusively be playing SP. (If that speaks against me :P).

When I first heard about this game people were complaining about bugs so I didn't even bother the check it out. Now that you are going to make this giveaway, I decided to take a look at gameplays and reviews about the game and I'm very interested in it. I really enjoy survival and exploration games (Starbound, Terraria, Project Zomboid...), space-themed games (FTL, Starbound) and sandbox games (Minecraft, Garry's Mod) but I added the game today's morning to my wishlist =/
But please, add me, I guarantee you I will play this game if I win!
Sorry for bad english, not a native speaker.

Giveaway here:
http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/dWg58/space-engineers
Alright, so I had created a giveaway a few days ago with the following text in the description:
Please only enter if you're really interested in playing - I would have activated it myself if I wanted it to be just another game in a library.
Cheers,
BM
P.S.: final half an hour for those (if any) uninterested to withdraw their entries, better do so if you would like to remain in my whitelist
The winner activated the game 5 days ago and still has 0 hours of playtime while the playtime of some other games on his/her account has been constantly rising.
This aggravated me a lot so I bought another tier 3 bundle with the intention of giving away space engineers. However, in order to avoid the above from happening again, the rules have changed.
I'm going to clear out my whitelist (with the exception of a few personal friends) and recreate my whitelist giveaway. However, this time, in order to qualify, you must have had the game in your wishlist for at least 2 weeks (I will check the date added, latest can be July 16th). Also, you cannot have more than 25 items in your wishlist (this is to avoid traders who add every single game to their wishlist).
If you don't meet the criteria above you still have a shot at the game but only if you manage to convince me that you are genuinely interested. I'm only doing this so that someone who really wants but can't afford the bundle can get a shot at the game. I didn't activate the first copy that I bought for precisely the same reason. Please be considerate.
Cheers
B.
