Can't join L4D 2 and Killing Floor

Hello to everyone.

A couple of days ago I played "Left 4 Dead 2" and "Killing Floor" because were F2P a determined period of time. In time the offer expired and now I can't join the giveaways like "Left 4 Dead 2" or "Killing Floor" because the server thinks I own these games. I have synchronized my account three times and I still can't join these two giveaways.

What can I do?

free weekend issue? because steam api thinks 'recently played' = 'in your library and therefore owned'. You'll have to wait until it disappears from your recently played list, then sync.

wait till the games stop appearing in your recent play list - aka 2 weeks. then sync.

It's normal. The only thing to do is wait for two weeks after the free weekend, by which time the games will have disappeared from your Recently Played list, and sync again. Then you'll be able to enter the gibaways again.
