Region question

so. i've bought whatever i needed and theres abit of money left.

the last game i want is around 12 on global region. while on another region its $5.

my friend offered me to switch me to his region through teamviewer. but i want to know

after buying from That region and switching back to my own.

will the game be locked to the previous region or just be global with my account?

edit: the MP component is the subject here, specifically.

I have no direct experience, but I'm pretty sure steam has a way of detecting, and you can get in trouble

This is under the "Travel" region use.
Go to your account
and click store region

If you're traveling
you can change that region to your destinations current region if it has one.
After that, you are allowed to change back to your previous original Region whenever you want and you get a 3 months Cooldown until another region change.

(Tried it before when i was travelling, and only bought a SP game in europe lol)
