If for some reason you had to select one game to play for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

Assume anything required to play properly (internet connection, other players) but no content outside of the base game (DLC, mods, maps etc). The exact same game forever...

Rpg Maker VX, why be limited to one game when you can create as many as you want! However horrible they may all turn out...

EVE Online. Most possibilities to pass your time.

Gonna have to say Eve. The so called "expansions" are actually just major updates to the game, so don't really count as expansions, while in a game like WoW, the expansions are separate, so that limits some of WoW's content.

That would be a horrible horrible thing. I grow bored very quickly, any game chosen for this would have to be an MMO or else you would quickly grow tired of it. Even then though, the most successful MMO ever, WoW, has been losing players left and right because it just gets boring and droll after doing the same thing over and over again.

With WoW, if you know where to quit it is a very good game.

Most people can't look past the OPTIONAL things you CAN do at highest level. You know what else you can do at a high level instead of boring repetitive things? MAKE A NEW CHARACTER.

You can only make so many new characters. Even the die hard WoW fans that dropped THOUSANDS of hours into the game are tired of the game. Ya, you can make a new character, until you have that guy maxed, so you make a new one. Unless you only have <5 years left to live, there is no game, Single, Muilti, MMO, fps, RPG that anyone could play as their only and sole game. Unless you mean to tell me you personally play WoW as your only game, which because you are here means you dont.

How about games that uses external files to play?

Like beathazard, osu, Audiosurf,symphony?

If those are not allowed. I guess i would play any multi player fps like:

  • BF3
  • planetside 2

OR multi RPG like

  • torchlight 2
  • akeneiro demon hunters
  • Guild wars 2
  • POE.

Hell I would even play Diablo 3 assuming that there are tons of dumb ppl willing to buy my digital e-peen

An MMORPG, or Garry's Mod (Trouble in Terrorist Town specifically).

Offline no DLC or multiplayer atm the game would be the binding of isaac (unless the super mario bros collection or any game collection counts as 1 game)
