Steam beta update?

What is it really about ? i just joined te beta testing for "steam beta update" but i do not notice any change in the program , is this related to the mobile app ?

I think that is the beta update that updates Skyrim to 1.4, and I think that's it. If you don't have Skyrim it's pointless to join that beta.

no no , i did not opt in for Skyrim update beta, it just showed steam beta update and that was it.

Why in the hell would it the Skyrim beta be marked as "Steam"? It's marked as, who'dathunkit, "Skyrim Beta".

You probably won't notice any significant difference with the beta update. Just because its a beta test doesn't mean they are testing major or obvious changes, they also test "under the hood" stuff that you will never see... unless they break something in the client.
