Which mount and blade (normal or napoleonic wars dlc) to start

I got mount and blade warband and the napoleonic wars dlc. I was wondering which one I have to start (when I start up warband I have to choose native or napoleonic wars). I've only played mount and blade for a few hours so I'm pretty new to this game.

Warband(vanilla) is the base game you need to play napoleonic wars. Warband has single player and muliplayer, while napoleonic wars is multiplayer only.
To play NW, you have to select it from the launcher(instead of 'vanilla')

Warband and I advice you to start with the Diplomacy mod, it makes the whole game a lot better :)
