If you even entered the topic, thanks :P

Anyways,I know this is a crazy question to pose, but is anybody interested in doing the above?
I have met 2 people online and am sharing librarys with them.
I just think it's a great way of saving up money and making new friends.
So if you want to share games, add me.

I know what you're thinking ''Screw him im not giving away my account'',and hey,if you have a problem with that,
I understand, but i mean i have almost 100 games, and have no gain of stealing your account...
Also if i don't have access to your email,i cant really steal your account

Anyways, everything I've been writing seems as if I'm trying to lure you in,I'm not :PP
But whatevs,I just think this would be a good way of playing games you or I want to yet dont have

Cheers

I don't think it's a good idea to give my password to someone I don't trust, and I trust really few people.

You obviously don't know how to use the Gameshare without giving people ANY of your information.

There is more to it than sharing the information.

And besides, why should anyone here go out of the way to give access to all their games for a random person?

I'm not saying you should, I'm saying that he doesn't know how to do it effectively.

How you do that then?

as far as i know, thats the only way to do it. Unless you mean teamviewer onto their pc when signing into your account on their pc. At some point though, yes your account has to sign in on their pc

Yes, TeamViewer is the way to do it without giving information. The TeamViewer information resets every time you get on it. So, they can't get on it unless you tell them your credentials.

No. He means giving access to family sharing via teamviewer.

Teamviewer gives full access to your computer, I wouldn't trust anyone on the internet this.
Also how can you trust others computers to be safe?

And there's nothing stopping them from having a keylogger on their computer to steal your password

or program that looks like Steam login, but infact changes email & password.
Wouldn't be surprised if there was already ready to use programs for this.

Uh, NO. Do not ask users here to share accounts with you. Especially when your account is 90% or more bundle titles.

Sharing passwords is actually illigal by law, so no.

I don't think it's illegal by general law to share your password...

Jesus Christ what's going on,it's like this is sending someone to jail,I just wanted to see if someone wanted to share library's,if not,ok,whatever.

We read the post. A person with very little to offer wants to 'share' with people who likely have far better selections. If I shared with him for example, I'm up by 2 games, he is up by about 790.

He just hopes for stuff like that. Personally, if these topics aren't already against site rules, I'd very much like them to be.

Yeah sorry I don't have the money to have 800 games, really,I'm such an ass for it.
I don't get you,I'm sharing my library with a guy that i get like 10 games from yet he gets my entire library,do you want me to screenshot or something?

And that is great of you.

However, coming to this forum full of Steam users, many of us who have larger collections, requesting some of us enter into game share with you, its a leecher kind of thing, little better than begging for games IMO. Stick to people you know.

I'm not comming to this forum to leech off of people.I never even said that in the OP man,
just understand,I didn't start this post to steal,or leech,I started this to share games with someone, play games they have that i don't and the other way around.
Did I ever say that I am accepting only people with 400+ games? No,I will share games with people who have less games than me,but want to try them out.
I doubt there is anyone here that has a shole purpose of stealing accounts,I don't.
I'm not a thief,or a begger,just a guy who can't afford 800 games and wants to try some out.

Wait for steam to implement the sharing capability (asking for someone else password is a horrible idea, even thou you wont do anything bad, people wont do it)

Until Family sharing is not totally implemented in the Steam system this is much against the Steam's ToS.
And why would anyone share his/her account with you? You have almost nothing to offer (the 95% of your library are bundled games) :S

Can we report it (the topic) for begging/trading/anything bannable?

I've chatted with a support member about it, they aren't aware if game sharing is breaking any rules yet, unless someone makes a giveaway with the prize being a game shared title.

However, I've left a ticket about this topic, partly to ask how we should treat such in the future.

Yeah if joking about getting a free game is bannable, actually asking for a ton of free games should be as well. Hopefully this kind of thing gets added to the rules.

Just remember:

Will I be punished for any cheating or fraud conducted by other users while playing my games?
Your Family Sharing privileges may be revoked and your account may even be VAC banned if your library is used by others to conduct cheating or fraud. We recommend you only authorize familiar computers you know to be secure. And as always, never give your password to anyone.
