How to use VJoy?

how do i use it?

ive downloaded it, went to big picture, clicked till i got to FTL then hovered my mouse over the play button. I set my button two to the number two. then, it doesnt work.

every box has been ticked, ie enabled.

Worked for me. Numpad 2 to start the game then.
