Just great music that I can mix into something, instrumental/epic/emotional - so something along the lines of Trailer music such as stuff from Two Steps From Hell, Immediate Music, Audiomachine, etc.

I've always figured that some of Gustav Holst's The Planets would be great, if properly mixed. They're such an amazing set of musical scores that they've inspired movie and video game soundtracks for decades.
Also, I've always thought something could be done with the Bastion soundtrack.

There's only the 8 planets, so I'd recommend just giving them a listen. Its beautiful symphonic music and each one has a very distinctive flavor. Mars and Jupiter have probably been the most ripped off influential over time, but I bet you could do something interesting with Neptune.

For more current games, No Good Choice from This War of Mine is one of my favorite tracks, hell I love that entire soundtrack! Mortal Kombat X has some good stuff in there as well I think.
As far as movies go...oh man I don't know if the vocals are too much on this, but the opening to Gladiator - Now We Are Free is something I will never ever forget. Hans Zimmer does a lot of great stuff, you could make an entire compilation just with his music, like Inception - Time

I'd suggest checking OST from games, celtic ones too. Thinking in TombRaider, The Witcher, even Assassins Creed (to some extent). I can't give you exact names, but emotional isn't the music, it's the listener, the music just makes you feel some way (to you) while the same song/melody/rythm makes another person feel different; tastes and preferences and all that, surely you know this since you're in the middle :)

I was thinking about music you could use for your probably score heavy mix. I thought about Inception but this is too obvious. I couldn't think of any movie or game score that really got me, but then I suddenly remembered! One of my most favorite french producers that guided me into electronic music back in 2009 was drifting from 8-bit-ish 80s music to score like music!

I saw someone suggested a more classical piano track. Do you know Chilly Gonzales? He's a modern pianist tho. I think you might look for more classical chords and score typical melodies... Can't help you with that other than Chopin and sorts.

I realized that I haven't uploaded a new compilation to my channel in a while. So I started gathering some tracks for Epic Music Mix 13 (you can check out the other ones here).
What I was hoping to get from here was a bunch of suggestions for the tracks to use in my newest mix (instrumental/epic/emotional/etc). I will look through them and give the Besiege giveaway link to the best suggestions. Multiple suggestions welcome :D. Have fun!
