If people give away alot of games I wouldn't blacklist them even with a bad ratio. But if some people give nothing while getting alot then thats enough reason for me to blacklist them as of I don't think it's fair.

What if I want for people who didn't win anything or won only a few to enter but not those who won a lot? Level doesn't take care of that. It's my longstanding SG wish.

i dont even play games i buy sometimes i balance between ps4,ps3 and older consoles im pc right now cause my father got a stroke after heart surgery and im homeless in a motel room using their wifi hell even i have had 3 giveaways worth more then the 4 or 5 games won if i could give away desura keys like steam ones i would im just saying dont judge ppl who hoard games at times we burst through some on weekends or when the mood strikes a gamer has moments of meh we stare at steam go nah im to tired or i dont feel like messing with the settings or updates

There are always innocent people getting harmed if bad people do something directly or indirectly.
Also i'm not just blacklisting if they have like won 3 games but given nothing, if they have won games worth many hundred dollars or if they made small group giveaways too boost their level just to win more etc.
I would just don't feel statisfied if for example someone who won a game in a giveaway from me has won 200 games but given only like 3 games away. In the end I can blacklist whoever I want for whatever reason, and I don't feel right giving away games to such people, and that is the only reason why im taking my time to blacklist them.

I don't really like setting level requirements as then brand new members can't join. I like all people to be able to join.
Though I've seen people who have been here for 3 years and sent no games. I seriously doubt money is so tight they couldn't afford just 1 game from 1 bundle.

I agree with this for the most part. I know I'm not the best out there for my ratio and I've entered a lot of giveaways over my time on SG since a lot of the games I enter for are in bundles that I just don't have the money to buy. The times I do have money I put towards games I really want (KF2 most recently). I also have a habit of giving away games to friends who I know can't afford new games and have something really high on their wishlist. By no way does this mean I shouldn't try to give back to the community but I'm waiting until I'm working full time again before I start spending willy nilly on games while I still have my university debt.
It would also be nice if I could use Steam wallet money from the cards I do sell and the such elsewhere!
Anyways, sorry for writing something kind of lengthy and all, just giving my opinion and whether you agree or not that's fine, everyone does what they do for different reasons I'm not here to judge. I have gotten games and not played them for a while because of my internet bandwidth (especially with games becoming larger and larger). Other times I want to beat the previous game before going onto the next.

it's not about saying thanks ;p check ppl who didn't comment at all and you may find same statistics if not worse. basically like 85-90% of users on SG are lvl 0 users. Ofc a lot of them will be inactive accounts who didn't like the sirte idea or resigned because they didn't win in their 1st day/week, but still the fact remains that the majority of SG userbase are takers and minority are givers. So for low lvl (or no lvl) public GA you're bound to find high % of leechers, no matter what criteria you take, but it won't prove anything. You took ppl saying thanks, but could take ppll who didn't comment, ppl who have green color in their avatar, ppl who have letter A in their avatar - and it would end up the same.

i've seen a lot of people in here having 100+ games won more than they gave away(some are even close to 200 more) and i'm surprised that they even keep these people in some invite only groups

It's always been my perception that those who make giveaways are more likely to comment on the ones I've made. That's on the old CV system and the newer level thing.
Got too much time on my hands so I'm going to to some quick numbers wuth terrible sample sizes, particularly for level 0 as I haven't made many of those lately:
2 bundled gibs in the last month, no level requirement - 1251 entrants and 48 comments for 1 comment every 26.06 entrants
Last 10 level 3+ bundled giveways = 1722 entrtants and 95 comments for 1 comment every 18.13 entrants
Last 10 level 4+ bundled giveaways = 1626 entrants, 115 comments for 1 comment every 15.05 entries.
If anything, I'd say that those who don't say anything are more likely to be non-contributors and if you're going to start blacklisting people for not giving back you'd be better looking at the non-commenters first.

Atleast half people saying "thanks" in the comments of giveaways are BIG leechers.
... Suddenly my blacklist got huge.
Edit: I think too many people are getting this wrong. I'm not saying everyone who says thanks is a leecher. I'm not saying commenters are bad, yes I know it doesn't mean that you are a leecher if you write "thanks".
