An Imperial Guardsman is now the protagonist of the last game you played. How screwed is he?

Dark Forces: I guess he can make friends with Imperial Stormtroopers, so he's fine.

Ben There, Dan that - He might actually beat the story on a short amount of time.

Champions Online... I don't think I've actually run into a straight-up archer yet... the game's pretty tech/energy-weapons heavy.

The binding of Isaac - He instantly kills Isaac putting an end to all this nonsense. Then kills the Mom. Her faith was weak, she should have killed her son BEFORE god asked.

Super Monday Night Combat - He would do pretty well, no xenos to concern himself. Stuck in a deadly game as a ever spawning clone.
He would be a striker class. A straight-line shooting lasgun, a sword as melee weapon, can throw grenades.
I'd use him.

Fallout - New Vegas : He finds himself in an environment he would probably be accustomed to after all the fighting against the Tyranids, Chaos, and the Orcs and would probably end up joining the NCR as most of their troopers are treated like Imperial Guardsmen cannon-fodder anyway :P

Star Wars - The Old Republic (PvP specifically)

Guild Wars. I think with his decent armor, sword, and lasgun, he'll easily retake Ascalon from the Charr.

The Ship. Ehhh he won't last long without a laser gun. He might find a tommy gun however.
