If it's a giveaway for something I've been wanting for a while I'll usually say thanks, or if I win I'll say thanks.
Most of the time there's just giveaways that're like "Ah yeah, that could be fun to play... I'll enter to see if it's actually as good as it looks/as people say"

I read all comments I get on my giveaways, even the 'ty' ones. I often make giveaways when I am really depressed/suicidal, so reading all those thanks and knowing I made someone else's day brighter for a few seconds, because they can enter a giveaway for a game that they want, makes a big difference to me. So, all those comments aren't spam, useless or worthless.

Jesus, it not about leave the thank you or not, it about ... did you AT LEAST READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ENTER OR NOT.

Because if you do, you shall respect creator will, common courtesy.. did you have it or not
