I got the MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB :)
It's very quiet and works like a charm. I think most of them are pretty much the same though... You might wanna check some reviews.
Do you have a brand you feel comfortable with? Perhaps you should just go for that one :)

is not about reviews is about specs each manufacturer has dif settings for it so some have higher freq others just more gb gddram in it but more gddram dont mean better performance i for one dont see any reason why should i buy latest videocard just to waste tons of money when you can get cheaper one with same performance on any game

Gigabyte Geforce GTX 970 G1 Gaming

It comes with the second highest factory overclock and the low TDP and Windforce cooler gives it great further overclocking potential up as high as over 1500 Mhz.
And it's surprisingly quiet for how huge the cooler is.

I just got mine so I can agree with this. I normally roll with EVGA but after having to RMA a card twice within a year and hearing how their 970 is crap I decided to give Gigabyte a try.
After a false start with a faulty card with broken 120hz (black screen after switching from 60 to 120) the replacement I got is so far so good.

The cheapest one with good customer service and a decent warranty (at least 3 year warranty). If you don't care about a few extra dollars (maybe 50 dollars), then go with what Mr.Panda said.

Either Asus, MSI or ZOTAC for me.

Pick one with the cutest fairy painted over the cooling system.

I really enjoy my MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB. it's very fast, quiet and also cheaper than Gigabyte GTX 970 G1.

There're a lot of good reviews for Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming too.

But beware Gigabyte G1 is a much longer card than MSI, make sure your case is large enough if you decide to go for Gigabyte G1.

I'm not going to tell you which one to choose, but try to look in http://atf.ee/ - some cards might be a bit cheaper there.
And they as well have free delivery for over a 150 Euro orders.

Asus Strix. Why? It semi-passive. No fan noise on idle. (That's one I'll be getting soon, unless AMD puts something special out)

Great GPU, but the MSI has the same fan technology I believe... or at least it's very similar. Both cards are great, though.

Indeed seems that's the case. Seems like MSI could be little bit better. but seems like its 392€ vs 362€ for Strix at least in Finland.

The cheapest one? There is not like a noticeable performance difference, unless OC. And unless some cheaper brand with loud fans.

But for me then EVGA is best there, even super overclocked it maintains the temperature very cool, even better than other non OC cards.

Here is from where I get my info, at the end of the video he compares performance and then temperature on the same GPU Video Cards, but from different brands. Super Overclocked means more performance than non OC. I think this might be very useful when choosing what card to get from different brands.

I bought the Zotac one. It's the cheapest (I think) and comes with a 5 year warranty. It is however smaller and shorter than other 970s so it will run slightly hotter.

I would also recommend an MSI or Asus motherboard to match the GPU you choose, but it's not necessary. There isn't a lot of difference between the cards but these are the top two in my opinion and they are also built really nice and look really nice. Some people like Gigabyte but I think they look cheap, and the fans are actually kinda cheap. Also the Gigabyte is huge and may or may not fit in your case, but on the bright side it probably runs the coolest since it has 3 fans. EVGA cards are pretty good, but they are too loud. My MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G hasn't even broke 70°C yet. When I did my research the MSI seemed to be the best choic

Not sure about their products in general, but I bought an MSI Radeon r9 290x Lightning and it took 3 cards and 2 RMAs to get a working version. Again, it's the only MSI product I've ever purchased (that I'm aware of any way) and I'd be hard pressed to say I'm impressed.

i highly recommend the MSI GeForce® GTX 970 Gaming. i read lots of reviews and decided to get this one. it's just awesome. the cooler is the best i ever had. it's quiet and it really keeps the gpu cool. it never got above 66 degrees celsius. and even after i overclocked it significantly (1500MHz boost clock), it never went above 70 (most games stay at like 66-68).

Never done this overclocking, which program did you use?
I should have enough PSU power left for overlocking.

i used EVGA PrecisionX, which is available for free on Steam. Very common and often recommended is also MSI Afterburner.

I upgraded my graphics card to the MSI GeForce® GTX 970 Gaming a few months back.
Mainly because I'm very content with MSI and atm I already have a MSI Gaming motherboard, so it looks nice as well.
I'm very happy with it.
It probably doesnt matter which 970 you choose though. Just make sure you buy it somewhere where you get the free games Nvidia voucher ;)

+1 for the MSI GeForce® GTX 970 Gaming. I have 2 of these beasts in my rig, & honestly, I cannot find one thing bad to say about them. Plus they look sexy as fuck.

just dont buy gigabyte`s high end cards i used to have lots of problems with them i used to have any type of cards from giga reference windforce etc... but all end up F*cked ....

go for some ASUS custom made cards(dat strix is damn SEXY..) or MSI Imo Evga`s are good ones too..(zotac,gainward,inno3d just forget them)

a little tip:if you can afford and its avilable buy a card with more Vram as it seems games are becoming Vram hungry these days (not a 100% thing but worth considering) ...

i think right now there is no 970 with more than 4 GB RAM. also those cards with more RAM than usual are very pricey. if i remember correctly, a 770 with 4 GB RAM was almost as expensive as a 780 (which is clearly the better choice).

your right ...

first i thought that 970`s are in 2GB and 4GB variants ..... my bad...

and about price i was thinking of something like R9 270x which here 2GB and 4GB price different was something around 10$...

IMO go with Asus or EVGA. Asus always brings good quality products and EVGA makes custom coolers for Nvidia only same as Sapphire for AMD only so yeah... Those I think are the two best choices.
