finally won something!!!!

The original version of the post read (to me, anyway) like you were upset and we get a lot of those kinds of posts around here. My apologies for misreading! Congrats on Portal, you're in for a treat if you haven't played it yet.

Yeah. It took me 1200 tries and a dev giveaway to finally win. And I think that's considered lucky for some.

Perhaps if you guys bothered giving away something, karma might give you a break and you won't have to bitch about not winning.

Well damn, now I feel really lucky - two wins and a dev giveaway within my first month or two of signing up - and only 446 entries.

The word "finally" suggests that you have been trying for the longest, longest time now.

Were you expecting to win earlier than 3 days? Because holy crap, 3 days is good. Congratulations.

Now prepare for a moderately long dry run, if 3 days for your first win warranted you to yelp "Finally won something!"

But cheers, and I hope you'll be an active member of S.Gifts.

I just got my first win today with Half-Life 2, and only entered 110 or so giveaways.

I do realize i'm very lucky especially with people going into over 1000 giveaways and getting nothing <3
