Can someone recommend me a good virus scanner?

Hey everybody! Im looking for a good virus scanner to check if everything is ok with my pc, i don't want a antivirus just a good virus scanner that can remove virus aswell

Windows 8 - Windows Defender (is like Microsoft Security Essentials) and Malwarebytes.

ESET Nod32 is a very good one, came out best in a few tests. never had any troubles and sees everything.
