Well, that doesn't help either. I use SteamTrades quite a lot and explicitly state to not add me on Steam, with big bold letters but people are to lazy to notice. I also get some random friend request from people who randomly found an offer/comment in someone's thread and just want to trade, without even knowing what I have to offer.

Its one of the groups that is for the unlucky ones. I can find a link so you can get in contact with them http://steamcommunity.com/groups/WU5
They have a link on the forums somewhere but it usually gets buried with all the activity

So you looked at the screenshot and posted in the thread why exactly?

when random people add me they usually offer to trade something i don't want for something in my inventory. it's happening more now with the trading card beta. i don't know how they find me but at least they're not asking for me to buy them stuff.

Ok, i know that begging for free games is bad, but we simply can close the chat window and block him right, why do we have to waste our time and scold him.
My point is, there is a slight chance that he may be 14 and dont know how stuff works, do we have to be that harsh?
will you do the same for the beggars on the road (or only on internet because we have internet muscles :))

if he was under 10 fair enough but my brother is 14 and he's perfectly capable of understanding how steam etc works. He'd never beg someone for a game. Let's not give this guy too much sympathy :P

People on the street being Homeless is different to a kid wanting a game. A Homeless man you can see if poor and need our money to survive whether you choose to give it is up to you but with a person on the internet they do not need it to survive. If they are bored go do some chores or failing that get one of his own mates to buy it for him.

Difference is you will die without food. But you won't die without games.
People beg for food or money to survive. Beggars beg for games out of greed and a lazy attitude towards life or even worse, a sense of self entitlement.

I've met this kind too. He kept asking me to add and add to trade for this lousy game.
Another kind is the sort that forces you to the trade window and keep telling to "TRADE", "TRADE NOW".

Jesus fuck, Valve should ban their accounts. The only kind of beggars that invite me are people begging to get in groups I am in but I remove them at 'Can u help me plz????' stage.
Once I left all the shitty public groups like Traders Guild there's barely anyone asking me for games. My advice would be to leave all the public groups you don't benefit in any kind being there.
