Stardew Valley (just came out with co-op) I already love Single-player. Haven't tried Multi
Death Road to Canada (Had a blast playing this with my bro)

Sid Meier's Civilization has local hotseat, which works fine for a turn-based strategy, assuming you're not playing against each other.

I play Civ6 because it's the latest (I've had more than my fill of the previous iterations), but there's a lot of people who love Civ5 (go for the Complete Edition) which you can often get your hands on at a decent discount.
