Dont think so.

If your premise is that your thread has a chart, consider sorting the games (by name, ideally, but retail price is an alternative option), and either italicize the DLC tag or substitute a marker for it; Both of those changes will make the chart far easier to read through, thus giving it a benefit that simply visiting the site would not provide. ^.^

You can find an excellent table sorting script for Tampermonkey etc at

Thanks, might buy couple games if the process of getting credits wasn't so much boring work.

Remember, orlygift wants you to activate the Steam Keys on your own Steam account, for the giveaways and for the shop. Consequently you cannot purchase keys to games you already own, they didn't even allow the purchase of a second 'Random Steam Key'. (Commander Cool 2 from Orlyapps, so maybe not so random)
Also, the sortiment of the shop isn't static, games get added to the shop (probably leftovers from the giveaways) and removed from it. (probably when they are out of keys)

Remember, orlygift wants you to activate the Steam Keys on your own Steam accoun

Bright side, that limitation means that Steamgifts typically doesn't include Orly for addition to the free games list. :)

Even if literally nobody hold themselves to said rule (I see so many orlygift wins end up here...)

I mean, Orly locks your account if you don't have all wins and purchases showing as activated on your account, so presumably the only methods by which to give away games are if they're not syncable with Steam in the first place, if the users are running a new multiaccount every giveaway, or if acquiring a game is timed to match to when a user is already about to activate a second copy from another source. Given the amount of effort involved with those approaches, I'm not entirely sure it'd be entirely "free" at that point.

Have they ever really done that though?

What do you mean? If you mean the locking, that's handled by automatic syncing checks; There's no way around it.
For the games that are able to be checked for ownership like that, SG doesn't have any compelling reason to add them to any kind of list. Orly doesn't toggle activation checks on games that can't be synced, so those would be added to SG lists if enough copies were made available.

There's a tracking parameter from orlygift in the Steam store URLs, it would be preferable to omit those

It would indeed be a travesty if Valve started paying commissions to orlygift based on this thread.

Chances are pretty low anyone would click on a link and then actually buy the game on Steam though but maybe they get some benefit from people just using the links.

I might have bought Desire but I'm too lazy to figure out the credits thingy. Why does it seem so popular to obfuscate things like this, sigh...

Just in case someone cares (even though if you're in Europe, they have as much legal recourse as a frog that got run over on the highway)

You have to activate the Steam Key on your own Steam account.
You are not allowed to sell, share or distribute the Steam key to anyone else ( for example: G2A, Steamgifts, Steamcompanion etc.)

They are free to ban your account for it tho, nothing to do with the law.

Yeah, that's why I said "legal recourse" in case anyone was worried about that.

In the EU the ToS has no legal ramifications, while in some other countries, you can file civil suits that might be successful.

It's obvious that they have the right to ban you though. Rules are rules after all.

I think there's value in keeping your credits too, more credits mean better odds and you only lose 50 when you win on the site.

I find myself getting on average getting 10 credits a day (I'll maybe remember to check 3 or 4 times a day plus the social media credits)

Burning my entire pool on one game would make the next 3 months very unlikely to win anything.
