Games getting updates today

I've just fired up Steam and saw that many games got updates today. Does that mean we can count on an event today? Sth like collecting achievements for some in-game items maybe?

I sincerely doubt Valve will ever do any events related to achievements after the 2011 winter sale.

You could get lumps of coal and exchange them for games. It was possible to exploit the system by creating multiple accounts.

I have 391 games and 138 installed at the moment, but I haven´t received a significant amount of updates, so probably only on your side.

The only update I received today was for this free game, so I doubt it's anything event related.
