Hey guys,

Do you know, use, and have experience with online game databases? Something like IMDB for movies (I'm not really impressed by the game part there).

As far as I know you can't rate and make your own collections, which are the features I'm looking for.

https://isthereanydeal.com/ has some price history as long as the dev for a game hasn't erased history by re-releasing a game under a different steamid.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/ has some lite info
btw youtube is the best place i know of to check for game reviews
btw if you mean you are looking for real databasing info/help like oracle and SQL (both way out of my league) this might not be the best place to look.

Russian only gaming analogue of russian only analogue (kinopoisk.ru) of IMDB - http://igropoisk.com This is better option that you can find outside steam, unfortunately. I looking for gaming last.fm analogue since 2009, and still nothing. Good luck in your searching, you'll need it.

By collections do you mean playlists or like a "top ten/my favourites"?

Will any of these help you?

I have high hopes on a platform that is being developed and will be available soon: Glitchwave.
It's a set of 3 new websites by Rate Your Music developers, one for music (Sonemic, the new RYM)), one for cinema (Cinemos) and one for videogames (Glitchwave). The best is that users submit content and it is published when moderators approve it, so the database grows at a very fast pace.

I believe it has the potential to became the great online database you are looking for. Take a look at their Indiegogo campaign video: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sonemic-cinemos-glitchwave#/
