Nintendo closes its 3DS and Wii U stores

Maybe someone here is interested in this news.

Up to 1,000 digital-only games will no longer be available for purchase when Nintendo closes the Wii U and 3DS eShop stores next year
from March 2023 it will no longer be possible to buy games on the WiiU and 3DS online marketplaces

well, ds/wii days it was closed due to a third party going bancrupt ... forgot which service it was. had a talk with friends before and said to them, that they can expect, that after 10 years online stores/functionality will mostly close down on these systems. nintendo could bring 3ds legacy games easily on the switch ... wii u they did mostly on launch with reboots but they choose not to ... and well, it will lead to piracy because it is the only way to get those online shop exclusives. actually bought a 3ds a half year ago as a ds emulating machine

What would you want for them? Also in the past I've had Nintendo codes expire. Not sure where those are from or if they'd have the same issue

I'm not trading, just giving away. I think it's from the last Nintendo Humble Bundle, I redeemed one of the codes with no issue.
