True. Some people don't care about the games, they care about the games' value. Maybe their sole intention is to make money out of it, maybe they'll never play the game they just won. I think that's sad really but to each his own

I don't get what you mean by that first sentence.
I was mentioning that winning a giveaway means having to put it in your library if you don't want to get banned from Steamgifts, because you guys were referring to using won items for profit in some sense.

You could get a free steam redeemable key for it at some point in summer for a few days on a gaming website. If you redeemed it, you got a free copy for a friend now (as advertised on that page as well). That's how I got mine.
