Even if you find something worth buying in some shop that supports BTC payments, the network fee will probably eat up your one dollar so you can't buy anything at all. I used to like bitcoin, especially small transactions, but now that the bitcoin price has risen so much and with the fees being more or less the same (some fixed amount in BTC), it has become useless for anything but speculation.
