looks like an interesting and expensive toy ("jetski allure") even for a prototype - weird not putting on some protective
cage that doesn't hinder the airflow around the rotor blades ... considering those would easily chop off limbs

It has guards to stop his legs from going forward or back into the blades, but it looks like if you wanted to be dumb, you could move your leg out to the side, around the guard and then into the blade. I't's just a prototype, they would never be able to sell it like that.

EDIT to say -- never mind how dangerous it is to the pilot, how about anyone standing nearby when he flies too low, or tries to land! Is it just me or would it be relatively easy to protect the propeller blades? Couldn't they use some sort of plastic housing, sort of like the housing that is put around large fan blades?
