Anyone tried it yet?

It's not particularly user-friendly yet, though it's only in Beta.

I also think it looks quite scammer-friendly too, for example you can seemingly offer games you may have already redeemed and there doesn't seem to be any rep system in place.

Then there comes the trades themselves, lets be kind by saying some of the offers are a little but optimistic.

For example, somebody is offering BlazeRush and is demanding Dead Island Riptide, Saints Row 4 or Lords of the Fallen in return.

I have used Groupees trades a few times in the past, but stopped after I got scammed and spammed.

I'll only use if it I already have a game from one of their bundles. If I do get scammed then its not much of a loss there.

I've used groupees system a few times and have had no problems. I like how on groupees you just select "send to trade" or whatever it is. At least this way, you get some assurance that the person has the game, or at one point had the game at the very least. Doesn't look that way on indiegala which makes me more hesitant to use it but its only a repeat key.

I see what you're saying, just I was pretty annoyed at the time.

However, Groupees now offers the option of adding 3rd party keys - which seems even dodgier imo.

Oh they do now? Yea that is more of a reason to avoid it. I like to try to trade with people who have bought quite a few bundles though. You can check by going to their profile I believe. They're probably more inclined to not scam, but who knows.

Yeah, I agree.

Safer to trade with someone who has actually spent the time editing their wall and uses the site regularly than someone who bought a single bundle there years ago.

I don't like trade clients. I trust dealing with people directly, and using the reputation they've built instead of a system that can be duped or exploited.

Indiegala guarantees the keys will work, i contacted their support after i got an already activated key in a trade. even considering that, I still think i would wait till they get it sorted so activated keys cant be offered, because I dont want to be contacting their support every trade.

Ah, I missed that.

Like you said though, it's a bit of a pain contacting support - and I wonder what would happen if it got flooded, with key requests.

After all, there who is to say whether the key was activated or not?

I found a game on there I want to trade for, I have the game they're looking for, but there's no "offer trade" option...looks broken to me
