Wait for more intresting giveaways and blame trains.

Well, start thinking of some really niche games you're interested in and see if they're being given away.

Bank your points into giveaways you don't want to enter that end in 4 weeks or something.

Gamble on games that look kinda-sorta interesting that come up further down the line, so that you might revoke your interest later, as Mew2 described.

Give all those points to people who don't know how to write properly and fail to use them in paragraphs.

Take those points, lock them up in your account vault for the next 30 years, and then take them out again when you have a new game you desire. Simple.

Points don't need to be spended, I mean I have 300 Points all the time, because I entered like 10 giveaways in the last 2 months xD

Do what some guy did, tried to trade them for Black Ops II. He didn't even offered all the 300 points, lol.
