So stop screaming about acc bans.
i also got key from the friend of mine and i didnt know that was from leak.
ps. russians say that keys were deactivated, you cannot activate more dirts with them. now it says 'invalid key'

We aren't blocking Dirt 3 keys just because of fear of abuse or the consequences of an account activating the keys. So many Dirt 3 keys were being submitted prior to the ban to generate for more points than normal.

yeah, thats true.
by 'drama' i meant all these topics on steam chat or forum like "OMG I DIDNT USED THAT KEY, BECAUSE OF BANS" or "LOL DID YOU HEARD ABOUT BANS AND LEAK?"

People were worried about losing their accounts. You know the stories how apparently strict with the zero-tolerance on this sort of thing Valve has reportedly been in the past. You can't blame people that didn't want to risk losing their account with 200+ games over a driving game.

Dirt 3 giveaways generate a shitload of points. Plus it is against the rules to giveaway glitched/leaked Cd-Keys.

It is very unlikely to see someone giving away an actual original copy of such an obscure $50 title at this time. So it's better to take every Dirt 3 giveaway as a fake one to prevent Point whoring.
