I don't really know man...i mean, i don't really have any problems writing my witty comments on here, mostly because i have some time to think of what i want to say and even rephrase at some point, but when i meet a English speaking person and i have to actually speak to them, i'm kind of struggling to find my words. It's a completely different situation :)

I'll vote 2, as I can really only speak English and German. Had a bunch of other languages over the years, but never practiced any, so now I've forgotten most of those :(
I've been learning Japanese on and off for the past 5 years (currently more off) - once you get the way they think and accept that their grammar is completely different from ours (English, German, French etc.), it's actually quite easy (I'm just not good with learning the Kanji or just vocabulary in general)

Othet than my native English language? 4.
Sarcastic
Arsehole
Sadistic
And poetic.
I can change on the fly depending on what situations call for them ^_^

Perfectly fluent? 1. English. Decent and can mostly understand/am understandable? 2 - French and Spanish. Ones I can pick/say bits and pieces from and am slowly learning? 2 - Japanese and German

Italian is my native language and I'm somehow fluent in English and Japanese (the first one because of the Internet and the second one because I've been living in Japan for quite some time now :D)

I'm fluent in English and German and I can also translate stuff from Latin but since you don't speak it, I wouldn't say I'm fluent in it.

In Latin? God no. I mean, I might but it would probably take hours for me to actually find the right words to say. Since it's such an old language, you can't really talk about things that are happening right now because there often aren't even words for it - or let's say not concrete words. You would have to paraphrase a lot.
I've been learing Latin for 8 years and all we did was translate what people like Caesar, Cicero and so on had written.

Yup, and also Italian! Probably Italian ans Spanish more than French and Portuguese but yeah, there are many words that originate from Latin words.

I chose Latin in school because it meant only having to tranlate in one direction. Not having to speak it was another point in favor of Latin vs. French. It was the right decision w/r/t my grades, but nowadays French might have opened up a some more options in my worklife.
Wie bist Du auf 8 Jahre Latein gekommen?
Ich habe damals (Klasse 7- 11.1) Latein gehabt, also das kleine Latinum. Selbst auf dem "Lateingymnasium" WDG hier in der Stadt... hatte man maximal 5-11.1 Latein.

Yup, exactly the reasons why I chose Latin as well.
Also wir hatten bzw ich hatte hier von der 6. bis zur 12. Latein - und hab dann auch Abi drin gemacht. Hab aber die 11. Klasse wiederholt, also 7 Jahre und einmal 'n Jahr doppelt - also 8 Jahre.

I'm fluent in English
I used to be pretty fluent in speaking Japanese (I was always shit with writing and utilizing kanji) when I was a kid, but then after my grandparents passed, nobody really used it anymore in the family, so now I can barely muster even the most basic of sentences.
Took 3 years of Spanish in high school, fluent even less in Spanish than in Japanese.
Maybe something is wrong with my language retention capabilities haha

I want to try and learn japanese, but I have trouble starting off, same way like I have trouble starting off anything I do, actually. Share your language learning experiences!
Oh, wow, is this a giveaway?!
