Well, since you asked, ...
- When I joined, I was something like level 6
- When I joined, my gifted to won ratio was considerably greater than 1.5.
- Since I've joined, I've continued giving more than I win.
- Since I've joined, I've continued my policy of gifting (almost) exclusively non-bundled titles.
- Lately, I've cut way back on my entries in a move toward no longer entering giveaways at all.
My case is a bit unusual, so I doubt it would be useful to compare yourself to me.
P.S. (About 30% of my wins come from Simultaneous Giveaways events.)

Although those were never requirements to join the original group, they were suggested during discussion for CL v.2. As far as I know, Delta has not added them as a requirement. I can see why that might be so, seeing as how nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes, from time to time. Delta keeps his blacklist separate from CL membership, but patterns of abuse are not welcome in the group.

Hmmm, why being lenient on some "mistakes" that can easily be corrected? There were a lot of members who spoke up for including these requirements in the discussions we had about what is important for the group.

Perhaps we are talking about two different things, here? I am thinking about those "mistakes" which cannot be corrected. Those which can be, should be, and are therefore no longer relevant in my mind. In contrast, you seem to be focusing on the fact that potential members should "get their houses in order" before applying. I do not disagree with that, but my focus is on "permanent" problems, possibly due to my being an SG mod.

Not sure if we are talking about the same thing here. Which mistakes are you talking about that cannot be corrected?
Personally I am talking about a few members I had winning my giveaways who had not activated wins on their profile and when asked about them didn't even care to write a reply or thank me for the win. Is why I didn't gift as often to this group as I might have otherwise.
So if there are mistakes that can be corrected in my eyes they should be corrected before the people I mentioned in the former paragraph should be granted access to this group.

There are some problems with multiple wins and/or non-activated gifts which can only be resolved by the Admin. People trying to sort out such issues are added to a long list, waiting until some undefined point in the future when CG can get to them.
As for those instances you mentioned in your post, Delta would want to hear about them.

I can see an issue with multiple wins and all those developer giveaways that don't care to re-roll as well as infractions too long ago to re-roll as the userbase from back then is probably not active anymore.
I don't see this problem for unactivated wins though. Get the game, done. Also, just in case there are some rare cases that involve admin intervention - how likely is the people I'm talking about are affected by these rare cases?
Non activated wins is an infraction I would like to see a strict rule about, but maybe that's just me.

Charitable Losers v2 is now live.
Made for users who gift far more games than they win, this group was put together so we can gift to a like minded group of maniacs and addicts.
Here are the rules now being used for this group.
If you believe you meet these requirements, you can use this tool to confirm (Thanks to Knsys for putting together this tool, Charitable Losers thank him for the work)
If you meet the requirements, post in the thread and one of the group admins will confirm before sending you an invite.
Be aware that mass giveaways over a short period of time to meet group requirements will generally require a wait period of 8 weeks after the boost before they can receive an invite.
For site members that don't meet the requirements to join the group but still wish to gift within it, we have the position of Guest Gifter. These people will get a temporary invite, purely for making a giveaway or two then escaping before they make too many and get a permanent spot in the group and a hole in their wallet.
I obviously won't trust just anyone asking to do this. If you want to though, get in contact with me.
