I always really noticed a good enhancement with SRS but having to reboot every few hours because it loops eventually, made me give it up.
Trying DFX now, but it's alot less subtle, dunno how to explain it, apparently SRS runs as a virtual sound card and perhaps there in is the difference.
I got some 30 euro logitech speakers, all i can afford, and i don't like to wear headphones.

I have used tons of these software sound enhancers in the past mate, and tons of hardware products as well and now im settled for NIA Q7 which is wireless Bluetooth headphones, they sound so fantastic that you dont even need equalizers. i bought them on aliexpress for only 25$.

try Bongiovi DPS for audio enhancers,.
for budget speaker Swans Hivi sound better than Logitech,
the best is Harman Kardon Sound Stick great for Music/Movies

i'm using system default software there even after a wipe cause i like the way it makes the speakers sound just being installed versus not being installed. (less bass crackling then without)
welcome to try and see if it will work with your sound system (probably would) win10 x64

I am using windows 7, realtek drivers also comes with a bunch of stuff like that, like choosing the room you are in, the screenshot shows very basic options.
I will try all suggestions made here though till i find one that's okay.
But If i got it right, i think if SRS indeed works like a virtual sound card, then the enhancing starts from the output while with (most) other enhancers you add a layer on top of it?

i honestly have no idea how it works, sorry. you can probably find a win7 version though as well, i just went straight to my laptops download page though which only had win10 x64 software/drivers on it. "ICESound win7" or something like that should find it.

I used SRS audio sandbox a long time, but the last version is from several years ago, and the sound loops it got my pc into i think it's pretty much due that program, so looking for other programs, but can't really find alot about it, and other ones like ViPER4Windows seem to be from 2013 too.
Are there any good ones that don't come from shady sites, and has (constant) updates?
