Actually there are some different, but basically they have the same story and this version got positive reviews on Steam, so its not bad at all :X

No, it's the original creators of the original Corpse Party (on NEC PC-9801) (Team GrisGris)
It appears to actually be a translation of the 2008 WIndows remake of that original.
So it predates the time where 5pb were brought in as co-developers.
Either the 5pb-supplied assets can't be reused here for legal reasons, or back-porting those to the old game wasn't feasible.

Oh huh ive never actually seen corpse party gameplay before on any console though, only heard of it. Which is better, the psp one (I assume that is with the newer Corpse Party team?) Or the PC one that I am assuming is the one being remade?

Never had a chance to play the psp/console versions. I'd expect them to be more polished though. Never really played the original either. It caught my interest, but with it only being available in Japanese, and me not understanding that language nearly well enough, I've skipped out on it. I really should check it out one of these days now it's available in English...
