1. Think of a random word in your native language with at least 2 syllable
  2. Start a stop-watch and repeat that word in your head, spell it out, "say" it in different voices and tones but don't stop just repeat...
  3. Stop the watch when you start doubting the word you're saying actually sounds / is / what you're saying / loses meaning.
  4. What's your time?

I've been repeating the word "pepper" in my head for a full minute without sign of stopping being pepper. Send help.

It's called semantic satiation. I can't make it happen intentionally but it does happen occasionally with some words.

The random word i thought of was boobie. Went for over a minute before I forgot that I was saying it because of this thread.

After 5 seconds i thought of the 2 word syllable in reverse. "Corre" (Co-rre) to "Rre co" witch stands for run in portuguese.
