I entered 3350 giveaways. I only won 4 (one of them was the 100,000 Dwarfs?! keys so I guess it doesn't count).
The probability to win a game here is about 1 in 600 (it depends on the giveaway). You do the math.

It's all about luck and statistics, if you enter a GA with less entries, you have a higher chance of winning. Also giving away games and raising your level will give you access to more GAs (with low entries...) ;)

It's not just luck though. Users who win a lot aren't luckier than the average, they simply have access to giveaways with much better odds than the usual (high level giveways, private giveaways, group giveaways, ...)

If the GAs you enter have on average 1000 entries, it's most likely you win only one out of 1000 entered GAs. Don't be disappointed, that's what you should expect.
I entered 3250 GAs and won one public GA so far. Which I never received, because the GA maker has been offline since forever. That's unlucky on a whole different level.
On the other hand, I entered 2 whitelist GAs with less (but still a good few) entries, and won both. So pverall, things are even again. If probability was ever certain, we wouldn't call it probability.

Look for GAs with low entries and fast ending time for a better chance at winning. Back in the day I only joined GAs with ~500 entries max and 1 hour end time and would win a game/month on average. Nowadays I don't care, I only join GAs with games that interest me. Winning a game I actually want feels so much more fulfilling than winning a game from mere statistics.

You can actually figure out your odds of winning at least one giveaway pretty precisely. The formula is you multiply together your odds of losing each individual contest to get the odds of losing all of them. Then subtract that from 1 to get your odds of winning at least one contest (i.e. not loosing all of them).
That's a lot of math, but just for curiosity's sake I made a spread sheet and have been using it to tally my own odds. You can easily enter 300 drawings without the odds of you winning one reaching 50%.

Just as an example, let's say that every GA you've entered had 1000 entries total. That would make your odds of winning something just over 28%. You shouldn't be surprised when something only 28% likely doesn't happen.

I see people winning alot of stuff, and I win nothing all the time. Im always logging in several times a day to join those giveaways... Some people won alot of giveaways, why do som epeople win alot, and other people NOTHING
