Two possibilities:
1) You need to resync your account. Click the account tab on the top menu and force a sync to update it. This should solve old free weekend games appearing.
or 2) Steam seems to be a little... screwy at the moment. My community page shows my library at 329 games, but it's nowhere near that big. Lots of demos, F2P games, and old free weekend games that I played but never bought. Give it a little while for Steam to get its act together and then force a sync.

He is trying to say games which are automatically added to your account because of free weekends are causing him to not be able to enter giveaways for said games. Since the game is registered to your account, but then removed after the weekend.
