That sucks and I wish you better luck in the future - I know that kind of thing hurts. The highlight of my own job searching was that time I got to the final round of interviews for a job which I was qualified for that was then given to somebody unqualified for reasons and then a week later I got a phone call asking if I was prepared to do the job for free because the person they hired didn't know how to do it...

Seriously. They said I could do the job for free (while the person who couldn't do it got paid not to do it) and if another position became available in the future then it would go in my favour.

I'm pretty sure they weren't even bothered about training that person. I had to go to a 'group assessment day' before I got to an interview and it was pretty obvious what was going to happen at that stage - but there was at least a pretty good lunch laid on.

In my current job I've gone from 8pm starts to 8am starts in the course of a few months - I at least get paid OK for it but my sleep schedule is out of the window...

I gotcha covered - M7 wasn't on my WL, but is now - being on my WL may not be as nice as yours atm, but maybe it's worth something...

I understand how you feel, but I think you're doing the right thing. Shouting about it on the Net isn't going to help you, but "moving on" to the next opportunity will. Just "keep on keeping on" until you finally end up in a job where you are accepted as you are.
