Steam not recognizing game as owned?

So I wanted to try Outriders and save a bit so went and got a key from GMG since I got 20% off with XP offer.
Got the key activated it and waited for the day of launch to play the game. Did about 6 hours before servers went to **** and then I stopped. When I was done I noticed I didn't get any steam trading cards so I was a little bit confused as to why. When I clicked on the cards to see how many I have left to drop it say 0. I was so confused.
Then I started to research this a bit.
When I went to the store page it says that the game is still on my wishlist as if I don't own it but it is in my library and well past the demo part of the game so I know it is a full version. Than I saw another strange thing when I look at my achievements and try to compare it to global achievement stats it says that I don't own the game O.o

Has anyone had this happen to them with any game they got from a legit key seller like Fanatical,GMG etc?
If anyone has any idea what I can do to fix this please let me know.
