Seriously though man I'm with you, sales are sales and we should be happy with what we get because we could be getting nothing at all. As much as I won't say I don't miss the achievement stuff they did in the last few sales (badges are kind of shitty trade-off) the fact they go to the trouble of doing massive sales and events like this at all is pretty damn awesome.

Grocery stores dont have to have those free sample giveaways, or take coupons, or do sales. Electronics stores dont need to have models sitting out for you to view, or salespeople to answer questions, or offer special services like delivery and setup.

I could go on, but hopefully by now you realize the idiocy of your post. Companies do different, interesting, beneficial things for their customers in order to drive sales.

After how grandiose previous sales have been, this one's been fairly lackluster. People expect what happened in previous sales to happen with this one. It hasn't thus far. When somebody doesn't live up to their standards or reputation, they get told. Blizzard's heard all about how bad D3 is compared to D2, I'm sure. It's reasonable to be mildly upset.

Only mildly, though. People that are ranting and raving in any way about the sale need to take a serious look at their life.

The sale has been pretty good for train enthusiasts, though.
